Our Pastor
Pastor Chad Hooks has been our pastor for eight years. He was born and raised here in Washington County where he lives with his wife Ganelle and their four children Abraham 21, Samuel 18, James 16, and Candace 14. Chad is a bi-vocational pastor and works full time for Washington County.

OUR MISSIONS
At CFBC the Lord has blessed us to be able to support 372 missionaries in 67 countries at home and around the world through Heartcry Missionary Society a ministry started by Paul Washer in 1988.
We are also blessed to be able to support the TLC Community Center, an abortion alternative center located in Carter County Tn started and operated by Angie Odom.
We are blessed to have a local nursing home ministry at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Johnson City Tn. With services held weekly at 10:00 AM every Tuesday by Clyde and Barbera Swiger
Our History
In November of 2014 we began to have worship services in our Pastors home. Over the next few months we had worship services in many of our members living rooms. We eventually moved to the Gray community center and held our worship services there. We experienced the Lord working in our lives in miraculous ways in those days. After a few months of worship in the Gray Community Center the Lord presented an opportunity to us to purchase the Roan Hill Baptist Church where we are currently located. There was no possible way that such a small congregation could afford to buy it. But the Lord in His providence moved upon a gentleman unaffiliated with our church to buy the church for us!
We have been in our building since 2016 and the Lord has blessed us beyond measure! We are so thankful for what the Lord has done for us!
